It's hard to describe the chaos that a community goes through after the derecho (140 mph winds) that hit Cedar Rapids in August. I had one priority-to get a new roof before winter. Thanks to Meeks Construction, I have it! Despite trying to meet the overwhelming needs of an entire city (not even their home base), their crews were efficient, project manager was great to work with, and Devin Meeks has a very reassuring way about him. Let me start by saying that Devin Meeks is just a great person. After a derecho hit my city, I was facing a lot of damage to the house I was supposed to be selling in just weeks! I randomly found Devin's number on Facebook and was very impressed that he went above and beyond in answering all of my construction and insurance questions as well as getting all of the repairs done in a timely manner. Our house is now in ship shape for its new owner!! Devin was the only contractor I contacted who made a point to answer his phone and respond to every text. Even more impressive was his crews workmanship and how great the guys were. It was nice to have a group of friendly and professional men to work with. I give meeks construction an A+! I'm so grateful to Devin for all he has done for me and my family.

I would highly recommend Meeks Construction for your siding needs.  They were very timely with reaching out after my initial contact.  Communication throughout this entire process, (via phone calls, emails, text or in person visits) was outstanding!  Worked well with my insurance company and provided the necessary documentation to make this a flawless process.  They also assisted with offering color suggestions/samples & styles via their computer program which was extremely helpful when making my selection.  Willing to correct/fix a couple of items that we found on final walk-through.  If General Manager had any questions that he didn't know the answer to, he would immediately reach out to the owner to get answers.  Extremely pleased with the outcome!!  Thank you to all @ Meeks Construction with putting my house back together after the 2020 Derecho.

First off ... I spend a few months finding a Contractor to work with, without being blown off. I mentioned up front I am not looking to price shop, I just want a honest fair quote and I will be ready to pull the trigger. Secondly ... I found Meek's since I saw they were giving back to the public with gift cards to show their support and appreciation during the storm damage. Nothing but respect for that.

Not only did the Meeks team deal with the hassle of working with my insurance company, their siding crew I got was respectful, thankful, and cleaned up great.
